The aim of digiCruise is to bring the learning content of a marine science excursion into the digital classroom. Realistically animated devices such as a CTD are used to take samples in the water column, on which various parameters such as salinity or oxygen can be measured in a virtual laboratory. The virtually collected data helps to draw conclusions about the changing environmental conditions.
