On Friday, January 15, 2021, the first online International Partner’s Day ‘Foreign Languages in the International Academic Environment’ will take place, organised by Foreign Languages Centre team at the University of Gdansk in Poland.

A story about a collaborative project of the Foreign Languages Centre and the Institute of Informatics of the University of Gdansk. The idea was to give an opportunity for students to apply their programming skills to create tailored language applications that could be used by other students of the Faculty.

Workshop: How Contemporary is your English?

We will be working with some lexical items that reflect current social trends in the UK and exploring their meaning in an intensive way. Although it isn’t a methodology workshop, it may give you some fresh ideas for activities to use with your own students.
