digiCruise and digiTeachKit are two online formats for digital learning and teaching, created within the SEA-EU framework and launched in August 2021 at Kiel University.

We at the SEA-EU alliance developed digiCruise, where one can experience a virtual ship excursion on the Kiel Fjord.

Then digiCruise is just the thing!

Students and lecturers can experience a virtual excursion on the research vessel ALKOR on the Kiel Fjord.

The aim of digiCruise is to bring the learning content of a marine science excursion into the digital classroom.

The second online tool we developed is the self-learning course digiTeachKit which offers teachers from all faculties and disciplines the opportunity to enhance their digital teaching skills and learn new methods to make teaching more interactive from a distance.
