A “Funding Morning” organised by the University of Malta’s SEA-EU Team was held on February 19th in collaboration with the Malta Council for Science & Technology (MCST). MCST’s National Contact Points (NCPs) introduced new Research and Innovation opportunities, available as part of the new Horizon Europe Programme, to enhance collaborations for sustainability within the SEA-EU Alliance.
The event was opened by Prof. Godfrey Baldacchino, followed by MCST’s NCPs introductions to the new Research and Innovation opportunities to be launched under the new Framework Programme – Horizon Europe. The session was split into: the Horizon Europe Bottom-Up Calls; and Marine and Maritime Calls and Topics. The six (6) talks highlighted opportunities for funded research initiatives in Marine and Maritime Research Areas, as well as others that could enhance collaboration within the SEA-EU alliance for early career researchers, academics and researchers.
