Ensemble Pro Arte from Mostar at the Opening of the New Cycle of Commemorating Passion Heritage

The University of Split, in collaboration with the Youth Music Society of Split, is launching a series of artistic and cultural events dedicated to the Passion heritage. In this year’s inaugural cycle, the program includes concerts, lectures, biblical-artistic interpretations of works by Croatian artists, and showcases the richness and diversity of Holy Week traditions. The cycle is organized in cooperation with numerous musicians and esteemed scholars, as well as institutions such as the Academy of Arts in Split, the City Museum of Split, and various religious communities whose venues will host most of the events — including the Church of St. Francis on the Riva, the Church of the Holy Cross in Veli Varoš, and the Franciscan Clerical Seminary. This year’s cycle is planned to take place in Split, Omiš, and Makarska.
The events are supported by the City of Split and the Split-Dalmatia County.
