Between 10 February and 1 April 2025, the University of Algarve (UAlg) delivered the “10 Minutes SEA-EU” presentation to various bachelor classes from the 1st to the 3rd year across different fields of study.
The sessions were held in classrooms and sought to engage students and inform them about the opportunities offered by the SEA-EU Alliance, encouraging them to take advantage of these resources to enhance their academic and professional development.
In total, this initiative reached 1,436 students from the eight organic units of UAlg – Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, School of Education and Communication, School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism, School of Health, and the Institute of Engineering. This figure more than doubled compared to 2024, when 625 students were reached, thereby fulfilling a key objective.
The presentation covered several key aspects of the SEA-EU Alliance, including:
- An introduction to the SEA-EU Alliance, highlighting its mission to foster cooperation and innovation among the nine European partner universities. Students were also shown the SEA-EU promotional video.
- Clarification on physical and virtual mobility opportunities, including language courses, micro-credentials, Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs), joint programmes, competitions, and more.
The “10 Minutes SEA-EU” presentation was promoted by Milene Lança (SEA-EU Office) and Filipe Lage (International Relations and Mobility Office).
UAlg is very pleased with the positive response from students and hopes to continue counting on their active participation in the SEA-EU Alliance initiatives in the future.
