The University of Split is launching a Call for Applications for the SEA-EU Research Seed Fund 2025 – a financial support scheme aimed at fostering collaborative research and innovation among SEA-EU alliance partners.
The purpose of the call is to encourage and support researchers within the SEA-EU alliance in establishing or initiating new collaborations that will result in joint competitive project proposals. Projects must align with the values outlined in the SEA-EU Mission Statement and must include researchers from the University of Split and at least one partner from the SEA-EU network.
Applications must be submitted by May 26, 2025, via the online application form.

The University of Split is offering seed funding of up to 3,000 EUR for the implementation of collaborative scientific research activities within the SEA-EU Alliance. As previously said, The call is open to academics and researchers (including professors and PhD holders), with projects led by a UNIST researcher in cooperation with at least one partner from another SEA-EU university.
As previously said, projects must align with the SEA-EU Mission and be registered in the SEA-EU Research Potential Database (register link: https://research.sea-eu.ug.edu.pl/). Researchers are expected to share the outcomes with the SEA-EU community through reports, Being SEA-EU conference videos, or conference presentations.
Principal investigators must not have received funding under the first SEA-EU Seed Fund Call. Each team member can participate in up to two applications, but only one project per principal investigator will be funded. All projects must be completed by 15 June 2026.
This local call supports cross-border collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and research mobility within the SEA-EU network.
