This short course explores the role of generative AI in higher education, focusing on how it can support teaching, research, and academic productivity. Participants will be introduced to key AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, SciSpace, Elicit, and NotebookLM, with practical examples of their application in academia. Ethical considerations, including plagiarism, originality, and responsible AI use, will be also discussed. Through case studies, participants will reflect on best practices for integrating AI into higher education while ensuring academic integrity.
