With the Master STORM embark on your Management learning journey, inspired by the sea. Learn how to navigate the future of Sustainability Management and become the resilient manager of tomorrow.

Six universities have developed a unique international Sustainability Management Master’s Degree that educates future managers to be capable of building a sustainable future. It teaches knowledge and skills from the fields of natural sciences, humanities and management.

STORM is co-created by: University of Brest (France), the University of Malta, the University of Cádiz (Spain), the University of Split (Croatia), the University of Gdańsk (Poland), and Nord University (Norway).

In the face of major societal and environmental challenges, organisations play a key role in minimising human impact on the planet. The STORM Master’s programme trains future leaders to drive sustainable transformation through critical analysis and innovative management approaches.
By integrating hands-on experiences that reconnect them with nature, students gain a deeper awareness of global challenges and their impact on organisations.

👩‍🏫 Innovative Learning Methods 
The courses will be taught by faculty members from all partner universities, each an expert in their field, offering students an transdisciplinary and intercultural programme of excellence.

💼 Professional Experience 
Students will apply their knowledge through an internship or a research project in one of the six partner countries. Throughout the programme, conferences and company visits will enhance professional immersion and networking opportunities.

🇬🇧 English programme 
STORM, the International Sustainability Management Programme is fully taught in English, it has been developped by 6 prestigious European universities of the SEA-EU Alliance

🌏 Immersive International Exposure
Students will study in at least two SEA-EU universities during the Master’s Degree, starting with the University of Brest (France) starting in September 2026.

🌊 Reconnecting with nature
Students will be faced with experiences to help them reconnect with Nature, an essential step in raising awareness of the global challenges that affect all organisations.

The STORM the international sustainability management Master’s Degree equips students with the essential skills to help organisations navigate and adapt to global challenges.

  • “The frame” – contexte: Identify and analyse relevant external factors on sustainability (including political economy, and regulatory frameworks) at societal, organisational and managerial levels.
  • “The picture” – Intra organisational dynamics and resilience: Recognise features of the organisational ecosystem and internal dynamics, and assess relationships, based on the principles of good governance to build organisational resilience.
  • Sustainability management futures: Critically analyse mainstream management concepts, discuss scenarios and create collective visions for more sustainable approaches in organisations.

To be eligible, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (EQF Level 6) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution. Applicants may submit their applications prior to the conferral of their qualifying diploma. However, administrative registration and final acceptance shall be contingent upon the applicant providing official documentation confirming the successful completion and conferral of the relevant diploma following the application deadline.
  • A B2 level of English proficiency
  • A willingness to travel and participate in at least two extended mobility experiences as part of the programme


Beyond academic qualifications, we value:

  • A demonstrated interest in environmental and social issues
  • Experience in management, sustainability, or related fields, whether in the public, private, or non-profit sector

As STORM is an international Master’s degree programme, participation costs do apply. These include the enrolment at each of the universities where the student will be studying ensuring that a joint diploma can be delivered by all participating universities.

  • For citizens and permanent residents of the EU, North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway, & Turkey: €3,750 / year
  • For citizens and permanent residents not listed above: €7,500 / year

About the Programme

SEA-EU joint programmes are higher education degrees developed and delivered by multiple universities within the SEA-EU Alliance. These programmes offer students the opportunity to study in different European universities while obtaining a single, fully recognized degree.

The five Universities that have co-created the master programme are:

Yes, all SEA-EU joint programmes undergo accreditation processes in the participating countries to ensure full recognition.
A joint degree is a single diploma awarded by multiple universities, while a double degree means students receive separate diplomas from each participating university. SEA-EU focuses on joint degrees.

Admissions & Requirements

a) Legalisation is not required in the case of students whose documents were issued by countries in the European Union or members of the European Economic Area.

b) All other students must observe the following conditions:
Documents issued in countries signatory to The Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 need only be stamped with the Apostille of The Hague by the relevant authorities in the country of issue.
Documents issued in all other countries must be duly legalised.

Legalisation services are provided by:
The Ministry of Education of the student’s home country, for degree certificates and transcripts, and the relevant Ministry of the home country for birth certificates and certificates of nationality.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country in which the documents were issued.

  • Recent Photograph
    (Photographs serve an identification purpose. Therefore, “selfies,” casual photos, or any other photos that do not meet the formal requirements of official documents will NOT be accepted.)

  • Scanned copy of Transcript of Degree or Certificate of Secondary Education

To be admitted you are required to submit a certificate demonstrating your proficiency in English. The programme mandates a minimum English proficiency of B1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), unless English is your native language.

Mobility & Programme Structure

Yes, SEA-EU joint programmes involve studying at two or more partner universities, ensuring an international and multidisciplinary education.

Courses are co-designed by partner universities, combining in-person, online, and hybrid learning formats. 

SEA-EU joint programmes are taught in English.

SEA-EU universities offer guidance on visas, accommodation, and integration into the host university. Scholarships and mobility grants may be available.

Costs & Scholarships

SeaBluE costs 1.500€ per year (including: International Health Insurance, Student Card, …)

Students pay tuition fees at the coordinating university only: University of Cadiz.

Degree & Recognition

Students will receive a joint diploma issued by all participating universities.

Yes, SEA-EU joint degrees are fully accredited and recognized in all partner universities’ countries.
