Ryanair is the low cost carrier with the major number of operational bases in Europe, creating a huge network of new routes and frequencies during the day for around 88 airports spread in 23 countries. One of the areas that register an interesting number of operational bases are the islands based in different European countries, in which Ryanair have a huge operation with different impacts that need to be analysed in deep. This study will allow to compare different islands where Ryanair is present, like the ones in Spain or Italy. Student need to choose one country to analyse or if possible to compare to islands from different countries but with similar characteristics.
During this internship the student will evaluate the presence of Ryanair in the operational bases located in islands across Europe, in order to understand the main impact at the airport and in the overall dynamic of the region.
