Computational fluid dynamics has become an essential tool for studying marine engineering applications. Although experimental analysis still holds an important part for numerical model validation, some limitations present in the experimental basin can be easily overcome by simulation environment. This internship offers students the ability to learn and practice modern simulation approaches in an open-source and freely available framework of OpenFOAM.
