A Trace in Time: Restoration of Drniš’s Monumental Heritage

On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 7 p.m., the exhibition “Trace in Time: Restoration of Drniš’s Monumental Heritage” was opened. It presents the results of archival research on the institutionalized restoration process in Drniš, led by the Conservation Department in Split. While primarily focused on conservation and restoration efforts from the second half of the 20th century, the exhibition also includes materials related to earlier conservation interventions in the city.The exhibition was organized by the Drniš City Museum and the Department of Art History at the University of Split. Curators are assistant Frane Prpa and Dr. Anđelko Mihanović, with expert collaborators Davor Gaurina and Dr. Antonia Tomić. The exhibition was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia.
