Advent at the Campus Becomes a Hub for Music and Charity with the “Note of Love” Concert

Advent at the Campus has grown year after year into one of Split’s liveliest holiday gatherings. With daily programs, concerts by major Croatian artists, affordable prices, and a relaxed student atmosphere, the Campus has become an essential Advent stop for the people of Split. Last night, amid the playful December mood, the “Note of Love” concert took center stage, combining music, good vibes, and a strong humanitarian mission.

The Note of Love concert was organized to raise funds for the Nevus Association, which has been supporting children and adults with capillary and arterial diseases since its founding, as well as families facing long and exhausting treatments. The story of little Tončica, a girl who has already traveled over 43,000 kilometers for treatment, especially touched the public. This humanitarian appeal mobilized students, professors, and citizens to come together, show solidarity, and help secure funds for equipment so that children could receive treatment in Croatia.

Excited Audience
The evening’s program was layered, diverse, and carefully arranged to satisfy the musical tastes of all attendees. Split DJ Dux warmed up the crowd and set the atmosphere, turning the Campus into a real dance floor with mashups, chart hits, and local club classics.

The band Sila Nečista from Solin, known for their distinctive humor, cabaret-style approach, and energetic performances, brought a completely different musical dimension, described by Saša Antić from TBF as “pastoral power rock.” Students welcomed them with enthusiasm.

The evening’s final musical highlight was the band ELITE, fronted by popular influencer Zipsssy. With their powerful energy, they kept the audience dancing until the very last minute. Their pop-urban sound turned the concert finale into complete euphoria, as students sang along to Croatia’s most popular hits, closing the humanitarian evening in a celebratory spirit.

Relaxed Atmosphere
It was clear that Advent at the Campus goes beyond a standard music program. Students gathered around the Nevus Association stands, making donations and showing support for the humanitarian initiative.

  • “It’s really nice that Split’s Advent at the Campus dedicated tonight’s concert to such a good cause, and that all funds go to such a noble purpose—helping sick children. And on top of that, we all had a lot of fun, so the evening couldn’t have been better,” said Nika, a student at the Faculty of Law.

Amid impressions of the great atmosphere, students also expressed a desire for more frequent humanitarian events at the Campus.

  • “I think events like this are a great way to bring people together in a relaxed atmosphere while helping those who need it most. Tonight was really amazing, and it’s a shame we don’t have more humanitarian activities during Advent,” added Matija, a student at the Faculty of Maritime Studies.

Although the focus of the evening was not on the performers’ status but on the concert’s purpose, singer and influencer Zipsssy with her band ELITE left a strong impression. Before performing for the students of Split, she briefly stated that she was looking forward to the show because of the young audience ready to have a great time.

Special Experience
She also reflected on the humanitarian dimension of the evening:

  • “Of course, every performance for a humanitarian cause is a special experience. Anything done for a good purpose is always special and beautiful. And of course, we’re glad we can help in any way, and it’s a great honor to take part in such an event,” she said.

The donor concert at the Campus last night was not just another Advent performance—it was a moment where students and musicians united around an important cause. Amid rhythm, laughter, and positive energy, hope was raised that the funds would help equip KBC Split, and that children like Tončica would receive the care they most need.

In a December full of events and entertainment, Note of Love reminded everyone how much warmth humanitarian moments can bring to everyday holiday life. Last night at the Campus, this was felt strongly, with over €2,700 raised!
