The concert of the award-winning participants of the fourth International Flutist Competition “Tinka Muradori” will take place on Saturday, 8 November, starting at 19:30 in the large amphitheatre of the Faculty of Medicine, Šoltanska 2, Split.
The project brings together young musicians and flute professors from Croatia and abroad, with participation of world-renowned pedagogues, and the competition is intended for students and young musicians aged 18 to 35. The aim of this competition is to make it a traditional event that connects musical excellence, education and cultural tourism.
The first competition was held in 2015 in honour of our world-famous flautist and pedagogue Tinka Muradori, and after successful editions in 2016 and 2017, this year it has been relaunched in a renewed format as the only highly professional flute competition in the Republic of Croatia.
The competition is carried out in cooperation with Music Youth in Split, the Academy of Arts of the University of Split and the University of Split, under the artistic direction of Prof. Ana Domančić Krstulović, the conceptual originator of the project and former student of Tinka Muradori.
