The University of Split is proud to present the first monograph dedicated to Andrija Krstulović (1912–1997), a key figure in Croatian sculpture of the 20th century. The launch will take place as part of University Days on Monday, 9 June at 8 PM at the HAZU Institute in Split.
Krstulović was not only a distinguished artist but also a long-time professor who shaped generations of young sculptors. The monograph highlights his unique style—rooted in Mediterranean tradition, shaped by stone, silence, and timeless form.
Speakers include Rector Prof. Dragan Ljutić, authors Margarita Sveštarov Šimat and Dr. Ivo Šimat Banov, and editors Academician Kažimir Hraste and Helena Trze Jakelić. All are welcome.
