NOVA is a final-year exhibition by the 2025 graduating class of the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Arts at the University of Malta. Showcasing the work of 30 emerging artists, the exhibition presents a diverse array of dissertation projects that reflect each student’s unique journey, creative interests, and artistic exploration.
Spanning multiple disciplines—including virtual reality, game design, fine art, animation, and photography—NOVA highlights the shared passion of these artists for innovation and boundary-pushing, whether through technology, storytelling, or reimagining the world around them.
More than just a showcase, NOVA marks a moment of transition, where years of research, experimentation, and development converge in a public setting. The exhibition offers insight into the ideas and questions that have shaped the artists’ work. Some projects are playful, others introspective or critical, but all speak to the dynamic and evolving landscape of digital arts today.
The public is invited to experience NOVA on 22 and 23 May and witness the culmination of this creative journey.
