The SEA-EU Alliance has officially opened applications for its Joint Programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year. Prospective students can now apply to two Master’s degrees and one Bachelor’s degree designed to offer a truly European learning experience, combining academic excellence, mobility and hands-on practice across institutions.
More than their innovative structure and strong international dimension, these programmes stand out because of the experience students are already living. The first cohort consistently highlights dynamic teaching methods, close interaction with professors and hands-on learning in real-world environments across Europe.
Zola, a student in the SeaBluE Bachelor in Sustainable Blue Economy, shares her experience:
“The first semester has been incredible. The professors are extremely dynamic and we have taken part in many field trips that allow us to experiment and learn so much.”
Her words reflect what many students emphasise: beyond academic content, they value the immersive and experiential learning model that defines SEA-EU joint programmes.
SeaBluE offers a three-year, English-taught Bachelor’s degree built around a clear academic progression. During the first year, participants develop strong foundational knowledge. The second year focuses on practical tools and interdisciplinary skills. In the final year, students select a specialised pathway, exploring areas such as blue sustainability accounting, marine resource conservation, sustainable port-tourism cities or blue industries. A mandatory twelve-month mobility period allows them to study in different countries and gain experience in diverse academic and professional contexts. For the 2026/2027 academic year, non-EU candidates may apply from 10 February to 30 April, while EU students can submit applications between 1 May and 20 July in Phase 2, and from 21 July to 6 September in Phase 3.
Over two years and 120 ECTS, the STORM Master’s Degree in Sustainability Transition for Organisations and Resilience Management prepares future leaders to drive sustainable transformation within organisations. Through critical analysis, innovative management approaches and hands-on experiences reconnecting students with nature, the programme develops the skills needed to address societal and environmental challenges. Applications for 2026/2027 open in February 2026, and SEA-EU evaluates all candidates equally in line with its commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities.
The two-year MIPMAL Master’s Degree in Port Management and Logistics delivers a fully English-taught curriculum focused on port services and operations, port economics and logistics, and port law and digitalisation. In the final semester, students choose between a research track or an industrial pathway combining internship and dissertation. International mobility remains central to the programme, with a mandatory twelve-month period that strengthens both global perspective and industry connections. The application timeline mirrors that of SeaBluE, with Phase 1 for non-EU students running from 10 February to 30 April, followed by Phase 2 from 1 May to 20 July and Phase 3 from 21 July to 6 September for EU applicants.
Choosing a SEA-EU Joint Programme means joining a truly European academic community. From the first semester, students cross borders, experience diverse learning cultures and build an international profile. Co-created curricula, mobility and strong links to real-world challenges equip graduates to lead Europe’s sustainable and economic transformation.
Applications are now open. The next generation of SEA-EU students begins its journey today.
