Cities and their Boundaries in Greece and Rome.
The focus of this internship is on boundaries – both material and immaterial/intangible/invisible – in their spatial and temporal dimension. We consider them to be socially, culturally and environmentally produced. Boundaries are socially negotiated and can exhibit varying degrees of (temporal and spatial) permeability and fluidity. It is necessary to recognise boundaries in order to recognise connectivity.
