Within the broader interdisciplinary project on front-of-pack food
labelling, this secondment addresses the comparative classification of food products using two major schemes — Nutri-Score and NOVA — while exploring how consumers and experts interpret these classifications in Spain. The goal is to enhance the transparency, communicative clarity and credibility of labelling systems, thereby contributing to consumer literacy and public health policy.
