The secondment focuses on exploring how digitalization and empirical
research methods can improve the measurement of tourism impacts. The candidate will design and apply digital tools and questionnaires to assess the economic, environmental, and social impacts of tourism management practices. This approach supports evidence-based decision making and the development of more sustainable strategies in destination management. The hosting institution offers a multidisciplinary environment combining tourism management, data analytics, and sustainability studies, enabling the secondee to gain hands-on experience in innovative, technology-driven impact assessment.
