The Université de Bretagne Occidentale (UBO) is a member of the SEA-EU European University Alliance (alongside 8 other universities in Europe). One of the major challenges of this partnership is to increase academic and professional mobility (internships) between its members. The consortium also includes 77 associated partners in the regions where the universities are located. Among these partners, the local authorities, which are stakeholders in the alliance, are beginning to exchange ideas with each other, but are still unfamiliar with the strategic areas of activity of their European counterparts. At the same time, Brest métropole, an associate partner of the alliance, has conducted a study into the internationalization of its region.
