University of Gdańsk
3-6 months

The Centre for Sustainable Development offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to its two pivotal programmes: the Energy Transition Lab and the Migration Observatory.

The Energy Transition Lab explores the societal, technical, and policy dimensions of the European Union’s energy transition, focusing on renewable and distributed energy, nuclear energy, offshore wind, and community energy initiatives. This programme aims to support local communities and stakeholders in developing sustainable energy solutions and fostering energy democracy through research, consultation, and participatory approaches.

The Migration Observatory investigates migration’s impact on politics, economics, and cultural identity, particularly in Poland’s transformation from an emigration to an immigration-emigration country. The programme fosters interdisciplinary research and stakeholder engagement to address migration-related challenges and provide evidence-based insights for policymakers and practitioners.
