At Nord University’s campus in Bodø, The Mathematics Teaching and Learning Research Group welcomes doctoral or postdoctoral researchers for secondments in Education.
Our research group comprises a diverse range of scientific personnel, from early career researchers to experienced professors. We employ both qualitative and quantitative methodologies in our research on mathematics education, considering perspectives from both teachers and learners. Additionally, we maintain close collaboration with our colleagues in natural science didactics.
The secondment has to take place between September 2025 – July 2027.

The secondee should have basic skills in programming and statistics.
We would be happy to offer mentorship, access to infrastructure (equipment related to 3D printing and programming education) and inclusion in the research group.
Statistical/psychometric analysis, thematic analysis, programming in an educational context, 3D printing, presenting research, etc.
