Artificial Intelligence (AI) is evolving at an unprecedented pace, reshaping the way we teach, learn, and conduct research. This short course provides an updated and practical approach to the latest advancements in generative AI, covering large language models (LLMs), unimodal and multimodal systems, and the newest large reasoning models (LRMs). Participants will explore the capabilities of AI-powered chatbots (both free and subscription-based) and their applications in a wide range of tasks. The session will feature structured examples and insights from hands-on experience in higher education, research, and even creative applications.
