Course content:

By the end of the course, participants will be able to
  • past habits and experiences
  • describe moods, feelings and emotions
  • activities frequently undertaken in the past
  • describe places (location and decoration)
  • narrations vs. description; preterite vs. imperfect
  • ask permission and make requests
  • plans and predictions (simple future tense)

Additional details:

  • Lessons via Google Meet (Laptop/PC/Tablet is necessary with a stable Internet connection, also a camera and a microphone)
  • Class size of max. 15 in total
  • total workload: 20 hours of instruction (10 contact hours in class sessions and 10 hours of self-study)

  • express conditions in Spanish
  • debate successfully for expressing opinions
  • use and understand basic forms of 10 common action verbs (sit, stand, come, go, say, stop, make, do, fill in, cross out/delete) and conjugate the verb ‘to be’ in the present simple.
  • use and understand vocabulary for locations on a campus.make excuses and justifying them
  • use free indirect speech
  • learn useful colloquialism in Spanish
