Parthenope University recently hosted a special event, “Parthenope Silent Fitness: Wellbeing and Wellness for Students,” organised as part of PADELNESS, the first Italian fair dedicated to padel and fitness, held at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 November 2025.
The courtyard of Parthenope University’s Central Administration was transformed into an open-air gym, welcoming around 150 students who took part in a dynamic masterclass led by Jill Cooper, Marianna Perruno (CEO of Padelness) and Gil Lopes – internationally recognised figures and leading professionals in the fitness sector.
SEA-EU supported the event in line with its commitment to promoting healthy and sustainable lifestyles, featuring a dedicated stand to share information and present the opportunities offered by the Alliance, thereby increasing its visibility and showcasing its potential.
Participants were introduced to Fluid, the workout programme developed by Jill Cooper, known for its unique combination of fluid, continuous movements with strength and cardio exercises. Together with Marianna Perruno and Gil Lopes, students also experienced Fit Kombat and Aerobics sessions.
Before the masterclass, the instructors met with students to explain the purpose of the initiative.
“Our University,” said Prof. Pasqualina Buono, Pathenope Pro-Rector for Sport and Active Lifestyles, “aims to send a clear message: promoting a healthy lifestyle is essential for both students and administrative staff. Silent Fitness is not only a day of sport but also a path of personal and professional growth.”
Institutional greetings were delivered by Prof. Francesco Calza, Deputy Rector of Parthenope University, followed by speeches from Prof. Pasqualina Buono, Prof. Stefania Orrù, and Dr. Marco Meli, National Business Development Manager at Les Mills Italia.
