Remarkable Success at the “Talento SEA-EU Dipuactiva” Awards Ceremony

SEA-EU Delegation at the University of Cádiz and the Province of Cádiz Government celebrated the “Talento SEA-EU Dipuactiva” awards ceremony. This event, recognizing and rewarding the excellence of young researchers, witnessed the presence of organizers, awardees, and participants and stands as a clear example of the fruitful collaboration between SEA-EU and its associated partners, particularly the region of Cadiz.

Over 40 awardees and their companions gathered for a day that highlighted the talent and creativity of young researchers. The 21 winners, whose efforts were rewarded with a €2000 cash prize, received a well-deserved diploma in acknowledgment of their outstanding achievements.

Furthermore, 6 special mentions were granted, and in addition to the diploma, recipients were gifted with an action camera, providing an additional incentive to continue exploring new perspectives in their research.

The ceremony concluded with a family photo, capturing the spirit of collaboration and shared accomplishments among the awardees, participants, and organizers. The image reflects the ongoing commitment of the academic community to foster excellence and research development.

“We are proud of the quality of the presented research and the commitment demonstrated by each participant. This event not only recognizes individual talent but also serves as a testament to the robust collaboration between SEA-EU and its associated partners, particularly the Cadiz province,” remarked Fidel Echevarría, Delegate of the Rector for the University of the European Seas and the master of ceremonies.

The University of the European Seas extends gratitude to the Diputación de Cádiz for its steadfast support and to all participants for contributing to the success of this event.
