SEA-EU BIP on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems held at Parthenope University

The physical part of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) Lifelong Learning Programme on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystems, coordinated by Parthenope University in collaboration with the Universities of Gdańsk, Algarve and Split, was held in Naples last week (16-20 June, 2025).

The BIP saw the enthusiastic participation of international students who, through an innovative combination of lectures and practical workshops, explored the functioning of ‘innovation ecosystems’ and how they drive regional and national economic growth. The rich programme of activities also included field visits to stakeholders in the Campania region, such as SPICI s.r.l., an innovative SME that was born in the technological ecosystem of East Naples, promoting international collaboration and aligning itself with the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda SDGs in the field of education and entrepreneurship.

The co-teaching programme saw the collaboration of Prof. Susana Imaginario from the University of Algarve and Prof Agata Olechnowicz-Szewczyk from the University of Gdansk. The BIP was coordinated by Prof. Marco Ferretti and Prof. Adele Parmentola from Parthenope University, supported by Prof. Michele Costagliola di Fiore, Prof. Michele Simoni, Prof. Chiara Cannavale, Prof. Lorenza Claudio, Prof. Nohaila Kartti, and Prof. Andrea Caporuscio.
