The SEA-EU (European University of the Seas) Observatory of Migration and Human Rights is launching a new initiative of monthly seminars dedicated to analysing and discussing current issues related to human rights and migration.
These meetings will be held online and will feature the active participation of the nine universities that constitute the SEA-EU alliance, enabling an enriching academic and cultural exchange among students, researchers, and professionals from various European countries. The University of Cádiz will be the first to host its seminar on October 27.
The University of Cádiz will also be responsible for coordinating this initiative, reaffirming its commitment to promoting dialogue and international cooperation in the field of human rights.
Each seminar will last one hour, consisting of a 30-minute presentation followed by 30 minutes of open discussion and exchange of ideas among participants, thus encouraging active engagement and open dialogue.
The sessions will take place monthly at 1:00 p.m. (CET), and the access link will be available on the official website of the SEA-EU Observatory of Migration and Human Rights.
With this initiative, the Observatory aims to strengthen joint reflection and the social commitment of the academic community in the face of contemporary challenges related to human mobility and the protection of fundamental rights.
