The secondment focuses on the strategic management and use of
information systems and digital technologies to enhance organizational performance and competitiveness. It examines how organizations adopt and integrate digital solutions to improve decision-making, innovation, and efficiency. Research lines address technology adoption and acceptance, digital transformation, information systems success, and organizational change management, combining theoretical and applied approaches across diverse organizational contexts.
The secondee will have the opportunity to acquire and develop the
following skills:
- Design and implementation of empirical studies using quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Use of data analysis tools for organizational and technological research.
- Application of theoretical frameworks related to technology adoption and information systems success.
- Academic writing and publication skills, including the preparation and structuring of research articles.
- Critical thinking and synthesis in the analysis of digital transformation and organizational change.
