The Universities Revealed event was a resounding success on 20 March 2026 at the Centro Direzionale. Parthenope University participated in National University Day with several initiatives organised by the Departments of Engineering and Science and Technology.
Activities included guided tours of laboratories, a drone science show and, finally, a concert by the Parthenope University Orchestra. These initiatives engaged students, schools and the local community.
Universities Revealed strengthens dialogue and inclusion
The day was organised by Renato Passaro, Vice-Rector for the Third Mission, and the Department of Research and Third Mission. This department also handles Programming, Internationalization, Communication, Information Technology and Statistics.
The event aims to strengthen dialogue between Parthenope University, schools, the local community and the world of work. Moreover, it promotes values of cohesion and inclusion. In particular, it does so through the Music UNIsce project.
Universities Revealed connects University and community
The day successfully combined science, technology and music. As a result, it created meaningful connections between academic research and the wider public. In this way, Parthenope University reinforced its role as a hub for engagement and innovation.
Overall, Universities Revealed demonstrated how Parthenope University can act as a bridge between education, research and society. The event also highlighted the value of open access to laboratories and scientific demonstrations for young people.
