The development of tourism in rural areas presents challenges for territories and residents, namely regarding ensuring sustainability and social responsibility, as well as the quality of life of the populations. In this context, it is intended to develop a case study for a rural destination (to be chosen), considering its development potential and its effect on the locals’ quality of life.
Tasks and duties entrusted to the student:
Identification of tourism development resources and potential of a rural destination; Characterization of local tourist entrepreneurship; Collection of primary data from residents on the perception of tourism impacts and quality of life
Skills to be acquired or developed:
Develop research skills, data analysis skills, academic writing skills

Compensation:

Erasmus + grant available depending on eligibility criteria of your home university
