On 9 March, the Diversamente donna presentation at Parthenope University of Naples brought together scholars, institutional representatives and civil society voices at Palazzo Pacanowski (Room B.1). The event formed part of the university’s ongoing commitment to gender equality, inclusion and human rights, reinforcing its role as a space for critical discussion and social engagement.
The Diversamente donna Parthenope initiative opened with institutional greetings from Concetta Metallo, Vice President of the Committee for Equal Opportunities (CUG). She emphasised the importance of academic environments in fostering open dialogue on gender-related issues and promoting social justice through education and research.

Participants engaged in a lively and constructive debate, underlining the importance of bridging theory and practice to advance gender equality. The discussion demonstrated how universities can actively contribute to societal change by encouraging inclusive dialogue and critical thinking.
