UM Carnival Photography Competition (Theme: Colours) was organised by the University of Malta for members of the University community. The initiative invited participants to submit photographs capturing the vibrancy and cultural spirit of Carnival in Malta.
The competition encouraged creative interpretation of Carnival traditions, including costumes, street celebrations, decorations, and festive expressions of colour and energy.
The winning entry was awarded a voucher sponsored by Photocity and was featured on the University’s social media channels. The initiative promoted cultural engagement and artistic expression linked to local Carnival traditions.
