SEA-EU Inclusive Communication Charter
The SEA-EU ‘Inclusion’ working group is committed to promoting an inclusive communication and an inclusive mindset within the alliance.
The charter “How we communicate in SEA-EU” is the result of a collaborative effort of the alliance’s experts, which mainly took place during a face-to-face meeting at UBO in October 2024.
These communication guidelines have been approved by the alliance’s executive committee and will now be implemented at all alliance events.
This charter serves as a guide for future English communication campaigns, texts, and visuals, ensuring inclusive communication for all audiences.
Gender Initiatives in the SEA-EU alliance
This document explores 26 initiatives implemented by SEA-EU universities to promote gender equality. Initiatives 12 to 20 were gathered at the project’s outset, with updates made in October 2022 and September 2023.
As an alliance, we recognize the ongoing efforts needed to enhance our students’ gender awareness, with many opportunities for action in the coming years. Therefore, in SEA-EU 2.0, we continue to promote gender awareness initiatives within the SEA-EU community.
Gender Equity Books Giveaway
Every year, the University of Brest organizes a book giveaway featuring books on gender equality and works by feminist authors.
International Day of Girls and Women in Science
Every year, the SEA-EU Alliance organizes activities to raise awareness on the topic and to encourage girls in following their call as future scientists.
Gender Indicator Report
In the frame of SEA-EU 1.0, partners conducted a surveay aiming to analyse gender related data in our universities, in order to foster mutual knowledge. The survey is available here.
