Digital Internship: SEA-EU Digital Communication & Dissemination

6 - 8 hours per week of individual project work plus 1–2 hours for online meetings, feedback sessions and self-reflection.

Scientific Context
SEA-EU is a European University Alliance bringing together nine coastal universities. As the alliance moves from project delivery to long-term positioning, communication is not only about visibility but about how results are structured, interpreted, and presented across partners and stakeholders.

Objective of the Internship
To contribute to the structuring and positioning of SEA-EU outputs, supporting how activities and results are translated into clear, coherent and impactful communication across the alliance.

What you will work on 

  • Develop short-form and structured content based on real SEA-EU activities (events, programmes, governance developments)
  • Contribute to transforming project outputs into clear communication narratives
  • Support alignment of messaging across partners and platforms
  • Work on selected SEA-EU initiatives (e.g. International Weeks, joint programmes, alliance activities) and translate them into communication outputs
  • Contribute to improving how SEA-EU results are presented to external audiences

Expected Output

  • A structured portfolio of communication outputs
  • A short reflection/report on communication gaps and opportunities within SEA-EU

Skills to be Acquired

  • Writing and editing for different communication formats (articles, summaries, short-form content)
  • Structuring complex project outputs into clear and accessible messages
  • Adapting communication for different audiences (academic, administrative, external stakeholders)
  • Understanding communication and dissemination in a European project and alliance context
  • Basic content planning across digital channels (web, newsletters, internal communication)
  • Working collaboratively in a multi-institutional and international environment

Entry requirements:

  • Enrolment at a SEA-EU partner university (Bachelor or Master level)
  • Strong interest in communication, digital content creation, or dissemination in a European higher education context
  • Basic skills in writing, editing, or content planning are an advantage
  • Good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work in a remote, self-organised way
