The SEA-EU Alliance continues its commitment to shaping the future of European higher education with the recent meeting of the working group of experts for the joint Bachelor programme. Hosted at Bodø Campus of NORD University, the two-day meeting welcomed participants both physically and virtually.
The agenda covered crucial aspects of the program’s development, including a thorough review and approval of 1st-year course descriptions, a discussion on joint pathways with academic partners, and in-depth conversations on internships, bachelor projects, and the organization of teaching in years 1 and 2.
The working group, hosted by the Pro-Rector of Education, Prof. Levi Gårseth Nesbakk, deliberated on accreditation processes, mandatory annexes such as academic staff CVs, and explored the integration of a Common Platform for Promotion, Recruitment, Admissions, etc. Additionally, the group examined the role of e-learning platforms and digital identity in enhancing the student experience.
This collaborative effort signifies the Alliance’s dedication to creating a cohesive and innovative joint Bachelor program, fostering a shared European Higher Education Area. The participants concluded the two-day session with a commitment to ongoing cooperation and progress within the SEA-EU community.
