University and Society: Creating Value Through Engagement
2–3 July 2026 | Split, Croatia
Organized by the SEA-EU Society Hub

The 2026 edition of University and Society: Creating Value Through Engagement invites participants to a two-day international conference dedicated to examining how universities can deepen their contribution to societal development. Hosted in Split, Croatia, the event gathers scholars, students, practitioners, and community stakeholders who are committed to strengthening the civic, cultural, and economic impact of higher education.

Across keynote sessions, presentations, and interactive workshops, the conference will explore innovative approaches to collaboration between academia and society, with an emphasis on real-world engagement, knowledge transfer, and shared value creation.

The conference welcomes all who have insights, experiences, or innovative practices to share. Individuals interested in contributing to the programme are invited to apply as active participants by submitting a conference presentation abstract or by proposing a 90-minute interactive workshop. This is an opportunity to present research, showcase good practice, facilitate discussions, and help shape a dynamic exchange on how universities can create value through meaningful engagement with society.
