Symphonic Christmas Concert included in the celebrations of UAlg Day

The University of Algarve marks the celebrations of UAlg Day with a concert by the Orquestra do Algarve, taking place on 21 December, at 5:00 p.m., in the Caixa Geral de Depósitos Auditorium. The event is free of charge, subject to venue capacity.

About the concert

The magic of the festive season arrives in the form of music, with a delightful concert performed by the Orquestra do Algarve under the direction of Pablo Urbina. The programme brings together works that, each in its own way, convey the sensations of Christmas, for all ages and from all corners of the world. And of course, as the perfect finishing touch, it includes music from The Nutcracker, the most beloved ballet of all time, composed by Tchaikovsky precisely for the Christmas season.
