A particularly special fifth event of the Parthenope Women’s Week was held in Pozzuoli, bringing together the evocative world of the sea and powerful stories of inspiration. Among the protagonists were the “Sirene nel Blu”, including Cristina Canoro and fellow divers from across Campania, alongside Mariafelicia Carraturo, apnea champion and a role model for many. On the occasion, Carraturo also presented the new edition of her book The Awakening of Partenope.
The event also featured Gaetana Castellaccio (known as Tania) from the Dedalus Social Cooperative and welcomed a large and engaged audience. Despite the rain and the first cold spell of the season, participants gathered in significant numbers, with the weather only enhancing the striking atmosphere of the Phlegraean Fields.
The initiative was held under the patronage of the Guarantee Committee (CUG) of the University of Naples “Parthenope”. The programme also included the inauguration of the Red Bench at the Campi Flegrei Sub Centre, a symbolic moment of reflection and awareness.
