SEA-EU@CAU showcase the international University Alliance at the Kieler Uni Live
For the second year in a row, SEA-EU@CAU presented the SEA-EU Alliance as part of the University’s showcase at this year’s Kiel Week festival. From the 21st to the 29th June Kiel University presented a varied programme at the “Kieler Uni Live” pavilion park situated on the waterfront in the city centre. During the entire week, Kieler Uni Live visitors were treated to a colourful and diverse programme of language courses, talks, hands-on experiments and activities, games, dance demonstrations and much, much more. The SEA-EU tent was open to visitors during the second half of the week from the 26th – 29th June. Under the motto “a stronger Europe”, the SEA-EU team presented the SEA-EU Alliance, its partners and values to curious visitors of all ages, with games exploring European languages and geography as well as drawing activities focussed on ocean ecosystems. Current and potential Kiel University students and professors also took the chance to talk to the SEA-EU team about opportunities and activities offered by the Alliance.
“As always it was a real pleasure to present SEA-EU as part of the Kieler Uni Live and engage with so many interested visitors over the four days,” said Jonathan Durgadoo, Head of the SEA-EU project office at Kiel University. “The atmosphere across the entire Kieler Uni Live pavilion park was energising and collaborative, and it was fun to be able to work alongside our university partners and colleagues to share our enthusiasm for university topics with a wider audience”.
