Call for proposals for student-led projects now open

Up to 4000 Euros available for projects strengthening student collaboration across the Alliance.

For the second year running, SEA-EU is offering up to 4000 Euros for projects that aim to contribute to the social, green and digital transition of the education landscape in Europe. Interested participants are invited to join a webinar on 7th November at 15:00 to identify potential partners and brainstorm ideas.

Call coordinator Giovanna Putortì, head of the Department for Quality Development in Higher Education at Kiel University, stresses the importance of the information and networking webinar as a way for students to meet each other and learn more about the initiative. “Our introductory webinar is a great way for students to build the connections needed for this initiative, as well to get advice about how to shape ideas into project proposals.”

Submission deadline is the end of January 2025; funded projects will run from February to November 2025. Project partners will then present the final results towards the end of 2025. Inspired and enthused by the projects and the experience of all involved during the pilot phase, Putortì is keen to encourage others to take part in the latest call: “This unique initiative is an opportunity for students to help shape the future of higher education in Europe. Not only do students have the chance to put their ideas into action, but collaborating with others across the Alliance is an empowering and motivating experience that will carry you further than the timeline of this initiative.”
