Staff Mobility

There are many options for you to travel abroad and learn from and with SEA-EU colleagues. The mobility office at your university will inform you and help with any of the options for ERASMUS mobilities.

Job Shadowings

Erasmus+ supports training periods for staff working in higher education institutions. Training periods abroad can consist of job shadowing, observation periods, professional development courses or specific competence-building events. You will need an agreement with a colleague from a SEA-EU university, and a programme for every day of the visit. Contact your mobility office for more information.

Staff Weeks

International Staff Training Week (short: Staff week) is a five-day event organised by a higher education institution which includes seminars, workshops, presentations and active participation of domestic experts and international partners.

After a first online meeting with our colleagues from Humar Resources at UG, we dared to go on mobility and we visited them for a Job-Shadowing. We have done several mobilities with them since then, it is a great experience!

Participating in Being SEA-EU has introduced me to the work of other colleagues, opening the door to future collaborations between different fields and universities. I think these events are fundamental to make everyone be part of the alliance.

Being SEA-EU in Malta was an enriching experience not only academically but also personally. The variety in the areas of knowledge was amazing, offering a great platform to learn and share ideas. I would 100% repeat this activity, especially because of the organization and the colleagues!

My experience at the University of Split was overwhelmingly positive. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, and the variety of activities and meetings organized were impressive. We discussed several exciting proposals for future collaboration within the SEA EU Alliance, including the possibility of hosting the 2026 edition of this Staff Week at our own University of Cadiz.
