Parthenope University hosts the SeaBluE Staff Week to strengthen the international bachelor’s degree

From 24 to 26 June 2026, Parthenope University hosted the Staff Week “SeaBlue: Reflection, Feedback and Continuous Improvement.” The event supported the development of the SEA-EU international bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Blue Economy (SeaBluE). Professor Stefania Corsaro coordinated the initiative with the support of the SEA-EU Office.

Academic staff and institutional representatives from the partner universities took part in the event. The group included Parthenope University, the University of Cádiz, the University of Split, the University of Algarve, the University of Malta, NORD University, and the University of Gdańsk. All of them contribute to the first and second year of the degree.

During the three days, the participants reviewed the results of the first year. They also identified academic, pedagogical, and organisational challenges. In addition, they shared experiences and good practices to define concrete actions for the second year.

The programme combined discussion sessions, presentations by academic teams, and thematic workshops. These sessions focused on coordination between partner institutions, teaching methods, student engagement, and assessment practices.

The group also defined a shared action plan. It set responsibilities, deadlines, and monitoring tools. This approach will help ensure the programme develops in an effective and sustainable way.

The initiative confirms Parthenope University’s role as an international hub for academic cooperation and innovation in teaching. It also supports a collaborative approach based on quality and internationalisation.
